This article talks about how robots will completely phase out the use of human beings in areas such as jobs. They give statistics as to how smart computers will actually be by a certain year. The author tells the reader a story about how technology will grow and grow and no longer need human beings to operate them.
This source is great for a middle ground resource. The author gives both a pros and a cons side of the growing AI field. He tells the story about how robots will take our jobs, but he also talks about how our lives get easier. He presents this information in a very win-some lose-some way.
Kevin Drum is not just some average Joe talking about how AI can take our jobs away from us. He actually has some credibility. He started out as a liberal political writer but he has moved into more of a high-tech marketing writing. Although he is mostly known for his political works, it does not mean his other works are without merit.
